Return & Refund Policy

At Joe's Smoke Shop & Joe's Smoke Shop, we strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policy carefully, as different rules apply to different types of products.
Important Notice
Due to health and safety regulations, cannabis products cannot be returned once they leave our store. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Cannabis Products (Joe's Smoke Shop)
No Returns Policy
Due to health, safety, and regulatory requirements, cannabis products cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left our premises. This includes:
- Cannabis flower (dried cannabis)
- Pre-rolls and joints
- Cannabis oils and tinctures
- Edibles and beverages
- Vape cartridges and concentrates
- CBD products
Exceptions for Cannabis Products
We will only accept returns or provide refunds for cannabis products in the following circumstances:
- Sealed Product Defects: If a sealed product is defective or contaminated, and the issue is reported before leaving the store
- Wrong Product: If you received an incorrect product due to our error, and the issue is identified before leaving the store
- Sealed Packaging Issues: If the product packaging was not properly sealed at the time of sale
All cannabis product concerns must be raised at the time of pickup and before leaving our store. Once you have left the premises, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds.
Inspect Before You Leave
Please inspect your cannabis products carefully before leaving our store. Our staff will be happy to verify your order with you at the time of pickup to ensure everything is correct.
2. Hydroponics Equipment (Joe's Smoke Shop)
Return Period
Joe's Smoke Shop products (hydroponics equipment, grow supplies, nutrients, etc.) may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following criteria:
- Product must be unused and in original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and labels must be intact
- Receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
- Product must be returned within 14 days of purchase
- Product must not be damaged due to customer use or mishandling
Non-Returnable Items
The following Joe's Smoke Shop items cannot be returned:
- Opened nutrient bottles or growing media
- Used or installed equipment
- Custom-ordered or special-order items
- Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at time of purchase)
- Items without original packaging or missing components
Defective Products
If a Joe's Smoke Shop product arrives defective or becomes defective within 30 days of purchase under normal use, we will:
- Replace the item with an identical product, or
- Provide a full refund if replacement is not available
Manufacturer warranties may apply to certain equipment. Please ask our staff for details.
3. Refund Process
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return for eligible Joe's Smoke Shop products:
- Bring the item(s) to our store during business hours
- Provide your receipt or proof of purchase
- Our staff will inspect the item to verify it meets return criteria
- If approved, you will receive a refund or exchange
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued in cash or to your debit card. Refunds will be processed immediately upon approval of the return.
Refund Timeline
Approved returns are refunded immediately in cash at our store location. There is no waiting period for refund processing.
4. Exchanges
Exchanges are available for eligible Joe's Smoke Shop products within the 14-day return period. The replacement item must be of equal or greater value. If the replacement item costs more, you will pay the difference in cash. If the replacement item costs less, we will refund the difference in cash.
Cannabis products cannot be exchanged, except in the limited circumstances outlined in Section 1.
5. Damaged or Missing Items at Pickup
If you discover that items in your order are damaged, defective, or missing when you pick up your order, please notify our staff immediately before leaving the store. We will:
- Replace damaged or defective items
- Provide missing items if available
- Issue a refund for items that cannot be replaced
Once you have left our store with your order, we can only address concerns under the standard return policy outlined above.
6. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong item(s) due to our error:
- At Pickup: Please verify your order before leaving the store. We will immediately correct any errors.
- After Leaving: Contact us within 24 hours. We will arrange to exchange the incorrect item(s) for the correct product.
7. Special Orders and Custom Items
Special orders or custom items ordered specifically for you cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive defective or damaged. Special order items will be clearly identified at the time of purchase.
8. Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns of Joe's Smoke Shop products. However, items that are returned in less than new condition, with damaged packaging, or with missing components may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price or may not be eligible for return.
